CREDITS AND AI ADVERTS
THE TERMS.
IN PLAIN WORDS.
How credits work, when they come back, and the rules for adverts made with AI. These sit alongside the Carp Army terms.
What credits are
Credits pay for AI creation in Carp Army Advertising: AI campaign ideas, AI background pictures and AI presenter videos. £1 buys 100 credits. You buy them in advance for your business; there is no subscription, no automatic top-up and no routine expiry.
Card processing is shown once, as its own line, when you top up. If Carp Army charges VAT, it is added at checkout. Every top-up comes with an invoice.
The price of each AI action is shown before you confirm it. Credits are held when you confirm and used when the work completes. If Carp Army has given your business a free monthly allowance, it is used before any credits.
Credits are not money: they cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another business.
When credits come back
Credits are not refundable, except in these cases:
- A job fails for a technical reason: the credits it held are returned to your balance.
- You cancel a video before it starts: its credits are returned.
- An AI picture or set of campaign ideas does not reach you, or its result cannot be confirmed within 15 minutes: its credits are returned.
- A video we are still checking with the provider keeps its credits on hold until it is resolved; if it failed, the credits are returned.
A completed result you would like to change is a new piece of work at the normal price.
Refunded or disputed payments
If a top-up payment is refunded, or disputed with your card provider, the credits from that top-up are removed from your balance (in proportion to the amount refunded). If they have already been used, your balance goes to zero and the account is put on hold until it is sorted out with Carp Army.
Adverts made with AI
AI presenter videos use a fictional, AI-generated presenter. They are labelled “AI presenter”. The presenter must not be presented as you, a member of your staff, a customer or any real person.
The scene is set from the choices you make; you write the words. Before any credits are taken, scripts are checked and refused if they contain:
- offensive language;
- health or medical claims;
- another company’s brand or trade mark, unless it is yours or listed in your approved claims;
- prices or discounts that are not in your offer;
- words that make the presenter claim to be the owner, a real customer or an endorsement.
AI background pictures show scenery only, with no fish, people, tackle or products, and should not be presented as your own venue.
Your responsibility
Your business is responsible for the adverts it makes and publishes: that every claim is true and can be backed up, that you have permission for any photos, names and marks you use, and that the advert follows the advertising rules and the policies of the platforms where it runs. Check every AI result before you use it.
